The Association of North-Western Car Clubs organizes a Marshals Championship,
covering all events that are orgabised by members clubs of the ANWCC (list of events available on request, or visit Calendar page).
Anyone who officiates or assists in the running of an event by an ANWCC member club is eligible for the ANWCC
Marshals monthly draw, plus all MSA Marshals Training Sessions. Membership of an ANWCC member club, or any motor club, is
not mandatory.
Contenders will be required to claim points by completion of a “Claim Card” and
submitting it to the ANWCC Championship Secretary within one month of the event. Alternatively, cards can be requested
from the ANWCC Championship Secretary. Claims by e-mail, post or textphone (07788 995345) will also be accepted. Note
the regulation below regarding claims proven to be false
Contenders will be required to supply their name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, club and MSA Marshals
Registration Number and Category (if appropriate). This information will be held on computer and made available to
organizers, unless the contender opts out under the Data Protection Act by giving written notice.
Points will be scored on the following basis:

| C | Officiating on a Closed-to-club event organised by an ANWCC member | 1 pt |
Random checks will be made to ensure that claims are valid.
Points for Marshalling cannot be claimed for both competing and officiating on the same event, competitor points
will be allocated.
Points must be claimed within 28 days of the event. Claims will be checked, by reference to the event officials,
and any false claim will render the claimant invalid for the championship, and will lose all points gained.
Points will be published at regular intervals on www.anwcc.org.
AA prize fund has been set up and it is anticipated that competitors and supporting companies will contribute to
the fund, this fund will be used for the monthly draws and for end-of-year prizes to the top marshals.
A monthly draw will be held, from all claims received during a calendar month, with a prize being awarded a lucky
winner. The draws will take place quarterly at the ANWCC General Meetings. Winners will be announced on
www.anwcc.org/Marshals website page.
Prize-money remaining in the account after deduction of the monthly prizes will be distributed to the top ten
marshals in proportion to the number of points scored.
In addition to the prize-fund, ANWCC awards will be presented at the conclusion of the championship year to the
top marshals. There will be also be an award to the top Junior marshal (under 21 years of age as at 1st January).
