Qualifying events are all events organised by one of the particating clubs and open to all the others, the clubs participating being Bala & DMC, Caernarfonshire & Anglesey MC, Clwyd Vale MC, Harlech & DMC, North Wales CC and Rhyl & DMC. All competitors entered under one of the co-promoting clubs automatically included and score points. First eligible competitor 25, next 24, etc. down to 1 for 25th. All other starters receive 1 point. Final score is total of best 8 events. Overall individual winner receives the Andy Poppleton Memorial Trophy (to be retained for one year) and the top individual from each club receives a souvenir trophy. Club points are the aggregate of that club's top 6 scorers on each event, all events to count. Top club receives the Glynne Edwards Memorial Trophy (to be retained for one year).
